Step-By-Step Access Guide

1) Google mIRC and download it from their website xD

2) When you open up mIRC the options page should automatically come up, if not click on the icon in the toolbar in the upper left hand corner that has a hammer on it.

3) Enter in you name, e-mail, nick ect...

4) Under Category window on the left, go Connect --> Servers

5) Click "add", Enter your own description, then under irc server put "irc.bw-gaming.net"

6) Click "add"

7) Now double click on the server you just created in the list, then go back to the connect menu and click "connect" or you can click on the little lightning bolt in the upper left had corner of the tool bar.

You should then be connected to #hangout

9) type "/list" and then join #cog (This is where we will all be) by double clicking it.

10) Now you need to register the nick your using on irc. Type “/ns register 'your password here' 'your email here' (Or something like that, if that format isn’t correct it will tell you the right way xD)

11) Now every time you log on you’ll have to type in “/ns id 'your password here'"

You should be set from there ...


Please note this is an excerpt from the Cloud Tutorial, just as the lua one is :p i take no credit except the fact of correcting a few spelling mistakes and changing info around.

and i could add that u dont need to type /msg to register/identify u could use /ns too, the difference is: by using /msg ur pass will be shown after sending it, by typing /ns it will only be shown while typing

2 things, it joins #cloud automatically so u don't have to use the list, and isn't #cog where we all are?

erm right but in #cloud we are too
